Overview
Ambit Networks develops & markets wireless & location based consumer electronics creating complete eco-system for enhanced user experience. We're an early stage startup with founders from strong professional and academic backgrounds. Ambit is located in the heart of Silicon Valley and its product is positioned in the emerging field of highly-connected consumer devices that combine hardware devices, mobile phone apps and the web.
Responsibilities
Architect & Develop system power and battery management system for consumer electronics
Architect & Develop hardware user interfaces (audio, mechanical and haptic)
Assist in the system integration with MSP430 & ARM MCU
System validation, testing & evaluation
Prototype evaluation
Experience
At least 5 years of experience with design and architecture in embedded hardware and integrated system development.
Experience in delivering embedded ARM and MSP430 systems.
History of innovation with examples of developing new technologies and practices for designs.
Experience working with in-house teams and Asian ODM teams.
Skills
Strong knowledge of embedded system design and H/W components such as:
Signal Integrity design and validation
ARM and MSP430
System Power: DC-DC, PMIC, and Li-ion battery management
LCD screens
Analog and audio components
Education
BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
