Overview
Axcel Network is actively searching for a hardware system architect to join, as a co-founder, the very dynamic team of the company's CEO and CTO.
Responsibilities
In this role you will have the opportunity to define, architect and deliver next-generation, innovative networking technologies. You will partake in the design and development of hardware for our cutting-edge networking products with emphasis on IP and Ethernet.
Skills
Strong knowledge of network processors, IP forwarding, Ethernet switching, networking (L2-L4) protocols, security protocols
Experience in digital logic/microprocessor design (Verilog, VHDL)
Experience in CMOS, FPGA, ASIC design
Experience in designing and prototyping of PCBs
Experience in software development (C/C++, Java, Python, etc)
Hands-on experience with switch and/or router hardware/software embedded systems
Strong problem-solving and development/troubleshooting skills. Testing & Verification skills a plus
Out-of-the box thinker, motivated self-starter, excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Five plus years of related work experience
BSEE/CS required; MSEE/CS desired; PhD a plus
Technology savvy with an appetite for success, energetic and enthusiastic about embarking upon a new venture
Education
M.Sc. degree in computer science, electrical engineering is minimum requirement
Compensation
This position carries no salary until we secure funding. A stake in the company could be arranged in exchange.
