Overview
To take charge of the Product Department, which currently acts like a mini start-up within the wider business, a unique position that gives our employees the creative freedom of working within a startup alongside the job security of being part of an established business. We develop our products in a lean fashion, seeking to validate minimal viable products as quickly as possible to make sure that we're building the right stuff for our customers. You'll be working within our lively central London office and will receive a competitive salary plus an excellent flexible benefits package.
Responsibilities
Managing a team of product managers across several cross functional teams
Taking responsibility for the product development roadmap
P&L responsibility for the commercial success of the new products being developed
Coordinating with the marketing team around acquisition of new customers
Building features into our products that encourage users to recommend our service
Skills
A seasoned veteran of product. You know the industry well and have overseen the development of products
A businessperson at heart. You know your P&Ls from your T&Cs and can draft up a business plan
A customer hero You understand the key to creating a great product is through continually engaging with users
A UX genius. You can take users' problems and help to develop solutions
A prioritisation pro. You have a great understanding of the most beneficial features to bring in any given time
An Analytics wizz. You know which metrics to focus on and to make the best products in varying situations
A people person. You know how to communicate, motivate and inspire many cross-functional teams
