Hot INC 500 Startup looking for Director of Ad sales

Overview
The Account Director Banner, Video & Engagement Ad Sales will lead Prodege's outside sales efforts and may eventually build a national team. Successful candidate will be tasked with directly contributing to Prodege's aggressive revenue goals through branding banner, pre-roll & engagement ad campaign sales and strategic account wins while helping refine our product based on client feedback. Through in-person meetings with advertisers and their agencies the Director of Sales will initiate, negotiate, and manage deals that drive revenue for Prodege. Accountable by nature, you also have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, a drive to exceed established goals, and an ability to work closely with internal teams to get things done. We are looking for experienced sales individuals with established client relationships and a hankering to forge new ones, so that we can increase awareness about Prodege within the advertising, media, and marketing community.
Responsibilities
Work hand-in-hand with Revenue team to:
Establish strong relationships with key agencies and direct clients in relevant categories and verticals that drive revenue to support Prodege's growth
Ensure our ad programs, targeting, pricing and reporting are customer centric
Help establish processes, communications and procedures to help scale to a large business
Contribute to innovating the online marketing space - be a thought leader, speak on panels
Increase Prodege's awareness within the advertising, media and marketing community by evangelizing the efficacy of our platform and capabilities
Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends, case studies and other analytics
Experience
Extensive network within agency, brand and sales community
5-8 years demonstrated success in consumer media sales leadership at top tier firms
Skills
Very client focused, with good judgment about ad programs that will engage users
Understanding of technical issues and opportunities within web media
Ability to hire, train and coach a team to succeed beyond their own expectations
Good judgment about ad development and pricing
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
High character and ethical standards
Education
Bachelor's degree (graduate degree a plus)
