Thumbkandi, a new global instant messaging app is seeking 2 creative interns to focus on social media, creative brainstorming and digital marketing. You will work alongside the Founder, CEO brainstorming and rolling out different social media strategies to increase our core users, 17-25 year olds.
This is a tremendous opportunity to build your resume and get in on the ground floor with a new tech start up, based in SF.
Thumbkandi offers free messaging with unique hand drawn emoticons for every lifestyle. We are launching in January and are available on both Android and iOS. We are based in San Francisco, in the heart of Union Square at 5th & Market.
Thumbkandi is looking for two dedicated and enthusiastic part-time interns to start immediately. These two internships are a commitment of twelve weeks. Consideration will be given to extend longer based on performance.
We are looking for you to contribute and increase your knowledge and experience 3 ways:
1. SOCIAL MEDIA
Directly oversee our social media channels, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube,Vimeo, etc. and directly involved in creating fun content, postings and analysis of various metrics and analytics.
Be exposed and immersed with our creative team brainstorming fun, clever interesting ways to increase users through contest, promotions, social media and video content.
3. WORK DIRECTLY WITH SEASONED ENTREPRENUERS
Both our Founder/CEO and Chief Marketing Officer have over 20+ years experience creating, developing and marketing successful cool brands in music, fashion, food and technology.
Creative drive and passion to come up with clever ideas appealing to 17-25 year olds. Savvy with Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, blogging, some customer service experience, marketing research and creating excel spreadsheets a plus.
Specific responsibilities may include:
Creative marketing brainstorming targeting 17-25 year olds
Out of the box thinking
Proposal writing, proofing and editing
Additional opportunities pending progress
Current student or degree. Social intelligence bonus.
Unpaid internships with college credit. Opportunity to grow into a paid position. Start and end dates are flexible, a 12 week commitment.
