We are creating a development studio / incubator headquartered in Newport Beach, California and are building an extraordinary team of inventors and creators.
We're searching for a highly-experienced Product Manager who will be responsible for driving design, development, and support of new and exciting consumer applications delivered via the web, iOS, and Android platforms. At Robots & Rockets we embrace agile development with small iterations and big innovation.
The successful candidate will possess a unique blend of technical and business savvy, a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You will, of course, have excellent communication skills, an attention to detail, a deep affinity for technology and an intense customer focus.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
Conceive, design, and launch new features and services
Translate business goals, feature concepts and customer needs into prioritized product requirements and use cases
Identify user needs and market opportunities
Analyse market and competitive landscape to understand opportunity and potential value
Define product vision and strategy; maintain and communicate product roadmaps
Talk to customers and conduct user research. Gather requirements and analyze data
Troubleshoot product issues and answer product- and UI-related questions
Drive business KPIs through rapid iteration of customer-facing product features
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of distribution platform guidelines and capabilities to inform and guide internal development
Work closely with business, UX and marketing teams to drive look & feel and brand messaging for the product
Native intellect, curiosity, and passion for crafting amazing experiences
Track record of personal, professional, and academic excellence
Bias for action, with resourceful and entrepreneurial mindset
Creative design and problem solving ability
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
You are FUN and SMART
BA/BS, preference to MBA
