Overview
IT Developer
Location: Baltimore, MD
Duration: One year
IT Developers write code or parameters to provide software components according to technical specifications. They actively participate in the escalation of live errors and service problems to limit downtime and resolve problems. They recognize and solve inconsistencies in the detailed technical specifications and propose changes.
A middle experience level is defined as either having <10 years in the IT space or <5 years in the specific technology they are contracted for. Resources at this level would need a low level of direction from a team lead and could take a thought of leadership role in tasks if needed.
Skills needed:
PL/SQL Developer (3-4yrs +)
Knowledge of Weblogic Server architecture and Unix (Solaris) Operating System
Experience with understanding and working with complex data models
Skilled in shell scripting using any of the following: PowerShell, Perl, Ruby, etc (PowerShell, preferred)
Familiar with test data management tools and techniques to acquire data needed to support testing activities
Experience in performance testing
