Information Architect/Software Product Manager

The Information Architect/Software Product Manager will responsible for the detailed functional specifications for the next phase of the Will work closely with the lead product architect, the visual UI designer and project manager to ensure requirements are fleshed out enough for developers to start work.

The person applying for this role should be comfortable wearing many hats in the requirements process workflow. This includes the role of the functional designer, business analyst, product manager, information architect and functional analyst.
Develop user interaction model, site maps, conceptual diagrams, workflows and wireframes.
Write detailed use cases and user scenarios. Documentation should be described well enough to act as the basis for development.
Assist QA team to develop system and user acceptance test plans, scenarios, and scripts.
Working closely with product, marketing, brand, and design teams to translate business requirements into meaningful experiences
Collaborate closely with the development team to implement and ensure the development of a consistent and effective user experience
Leading and/or participating in immersive user research, concept testing, usability testing, and analytics
Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow.
4-6 years of experience designing, defining, developing and launching successful technology products
Minimum 2-4 years experience in a business analyst, information architect, functional analyst role or product manager role.
Demonstrated ability to execute on complex taxonomies, metadata frameworks, and templates for content management systems
Demonstrated ability to develop big ideas, and execute flawlessly against them in a highly collaborative and distributed environment
Experience using web analytics data to inform design decisions and methodologies
In-depth knowledge of new media and internet-enabled paradigms such as user-generated contents, social media and SEO
Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to fully flesh out requirements and use cases
Demonstrated experience with data munging: parsing, scraping, and formatting data into visualizations
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
High tolerance for ambiguity matched only by your desire to organize it
Advanced proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Omnigraffle, Visio, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
Experience working in an agile environment and strong understanding of agile methodologies
• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
