By leveraging key partners in Cable TV, Hollywood, and advertising, we are building an end-to-end Internet-based television service with unlimited on-demand content and targeted, addressable advertising with real-time analytics that are actually reliable and accurate. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that will build a next generation TV service from the bottom up.
SUMMARY
The Infrastructure Technology Lead is responsible for the entire corporate network and operational infrastructure, including helpdesk support. This is a hands-on position but will soon include recruiting, managing and leading other infrastructure administrators as the team grows. This position will also focus on architecting, building and administrating the operational infrastructure technology for an Internet-based TV service with dynamic user interfaces, rich media integration, working with HD video, custom OS support/Linux, and other great things like P2P and x86.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Infrastructure Team.
Build a service that will crush Apple TV, Netflix, Hulu, and your Cable Box.
Design and build the operational infrastructure technology for a large scale, high-availability, high-performance, multi-database data-layer service in support of a variety of diverse clients and applications.
Research, evaluate, test, deploy, and maintain infrastructure tools and utilities.
Opportunity to hire, train and mentor infrastructure candidates
Experience
Digital Video Technologies and Content Delivery Networks.
Mobile devices, consumer electronics, portable devices, etc.
Set Top Boxes and related hardware technologies.
Web analytics and providers such as WebTrends, Google Analytics, Omniture, etc.
Skills
Expert level knowledge and experience administrating heterogeneous networks consisting of both Microsoft and Open Source Technologies.
Solid experience with administrating operational infrastructures in 365/24/7 environments.
A solid working knowledge of database driven, web-based enterprise applications.
Experience with Task Driven Development and iterative Agile Development
