We need to implement PIN less debit on our site. (repay BillFloat using your ATM card) This involves plugging into a provider of ATM capabilities via a SOAP or batch based API. There will be a project team on the other side, and you will need to be able to work with them as well as get things done in our code base. Usually, we move much master than they do, and the technologies may not be as cool but get they job done. There may be front end work to this that requires customization or co-branding of our pages. You may be able to do that work yourself, but you will be working closely with our core product Rails engineers.
We need to enhance the BillFloat API because we have a new partner coming on board, and they specific functionality. Our API is XML based and coded in Ruby. You will need to be familiar with XML Schema (XSD) and be able to walk the partner through your enhancements as well as code the feature. You can think about the scalability requirements and make sure the API doesn't come down under load.
