Legal intern to focus on intellectual property, helping us in the enforcement process of our patents and in the strategic development of our intellectual property activities. Unique opportunity to manage the IP process for a rapidly growing global consumer products company.
This person will be responsible for:
Coordinating our global patent and trademark program
Managing tasks with the law firms that work for us internationally and nationally
Researching examples of infringements of our patents
Designing strategies to execute in each country and area of our company to protect our Intellectual Property
Gather all the information our law firms require for their legal process to enforce patents and trademarks.
Draft and manage documentation and administrative information related to our IP needs
At least 3 month in a legal firm, specialized in IP
Preferably from NYU or Columbia Law school
Should be familiar with the IP processes and international agreements.

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from law school.

The job position will start as an internship with the potential to scale into a full time role depending on the candidate's performance.
