Overview
Appcelerator offers a leading open source platform for building rich Internet applications (RIAs). One of the key capabilities of the Appcelerator platform is the ability to create fully functional prototypes that are 100% reusable. We call these prototypes Interactive Use Cases. Interactive Use Case Developers will work with our services team and customers to do the following:
Responsibilities
Gather customer application requirements
Design the visual look of the application
Design the interactive aspects of the application
Use Appcelerator to build interactive use cases based on customer requirements
Conduct reviews of interactive use cases with customers and gather feedback
Experience
Strong software engineering / architect experience
Fast paced, startup environment
Passion for defining and building next generation web platforms
Solid understanding of web architecture and related technologies
Desire to actively contribute to the platform code base
Working knowledge of Javascript
Skills
Must be able to work with customers to understand requirements (even unspoken requirements)
Strong visual and interactive design skills, including strong knowledge of how to incorporate Web 2.0 capabilities into application design
Strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS
Ability to work effectively with customers and internal cross-functional teams
Education
Engineering or computer science degree preferred
