MoPix is seed-stage startup focused on building a turn-key platform that allows filmmakers to distribute their film content to quickly and inexpensively distribute movies to mass audiences across a variety of media.

We’ve already developed a prototype and initial connections with key industry partners, but need additional help on the technical side to take it to the next level. We're looking for software and mobile developers and designers who are based in Los Angeles. Immediate needs include:
Engineers: We're looking for a solid programmer with a strong track record of executing and delivering products. This person is fully competent in front-end development, Javascript, jQuery, server side development, SQL and NoSQL data storage, big data, mobile development (iPhone, Android, etc) and solving hard problems. Software language skills should include at least two of the following: Ruby, Python, Javascript, Java.

Designers: We’re looking for at least one rockstar UX-minded visual designer to add to our team. He or she understands how to design for new media products like the iPad, iPhone, Android and Web 2.0, and is able to transform mockups into “Apple quality” interfaces that people love. This person will be responsible for helping execute the product design from high-level concept to production-ready assets. We’ll be especially interested if you have experience with front-end development and/or video graphic creation.
