Intern: Business Development (3 Positions)

Overview
Are you interested in a career in business development? Can you work a room and make new friends instantly? Do you have a gift for rallying people to your side? Does the idea of closing big deals seem like the perfect career for you?

If the answers to the above questions are yes, then you should consider joining inSparq as a Business Development intern. You will learn from two of the leading business development executives in the industry:

How to get a meeting with a top executive or CEO.
How to develop and execute on large scale business development strategies.
How to manage operations for business development.

You will learn the tools and strategies to sell effectively and be a dealmaker. This internship is like getting an MBA in business development.

Through this internship, you will have a chance to work closely with the company’s founders Veronika Sonsev and Richard Hecker. Collectively, they have closed hundreds of deals, generating over $500MM in revenue. Deals they’ve done span from advertising sales to strategic partnerships to M&A transactions. They have bought and sold companies, led financings, and closed multi-million dollar customers.
Responsibilities
You know how to tell a story and have great presentation in all forms of communication.
You have great writing voice and excellent copywriting skills.
You possess strong research and analysis ability.
You are organized and highly detail-oriented.
You easily navigate PowerPoint and Excel.
You have a demonstrated history of hard work and hustle.
Prior sales, consulting, or banking experience a plus.
Prior email marketing experience a plus.
Experience
We have three Business Development Internship positions available. We will determine where you best fit during the interview process:
Customer Relationship Mgmt & Operations: You will become a ninja at researching companies, writing convincing copy, and securing meetings with top executives. You will play a highly crucial role in our sales outreach and development, as well as developing inSparq’s voice to our existing customers.
Sales Support: Become the ultimate wingman to inSparq’s top-notch sales team. While you work alongside our team to close major deals, you will gain critical insights into how to convert prospect conversations into paying clients. Your work will demonstrate inSparq’s value to our prospects and drive deals to close.
Marketing & Copywriting: This is your opportunity to position inSparq as an industry leader and build our brand. You will learn to produce effective B2B and B2C events and marketing materials to add value to the e-commerce industry, sales prospects, and existing customers.
Education
