Overview
Network Development Managers are responsible for managing and growing the Sulia contributor network and for pitching and closing sponsorships for Sulia's channels. Core responsibilities include the following:

Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and recruit contributors by approaching and building strong relationships with bloggers, journalists, and other professionals.
Identify, evaluate, and sell channel sponsorships by pitching and closing deals with SME clients.
Maintain an organized system for contacting and following up with potential recruits and prospective clients.
Assign stories to contributors and measure editorial and strategic performance.
Program an editorial calendar and be highly responsive to the news cycle.
Measure and communicate results to internal stakeholders.

For this position, we seek applicants with bachelors or masters degrees from top-tier colleges or universities.
Skills
Entry level to 3+ years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, or community management.
Excellent understanding of major and emerging social networking, blogging, content-sharing, and checkin platforms.
Superior communication, interaction, and persuasion skills, both textual and conversational.
Existing relationships or credibility in blogging, Twitter, and Facebook communities are a plus.
Experience with ad sales or operations is a plus.
Strong, independent, technically inclined problem-solving skills.
Positive attitude, energy, and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
