We are searching for a strong, motivated, and goal oriented Director of Sales. Reporting to the VP of Product Strategy, this senior team member will be a strong individual contributor and also lead the sales. This role is primarily an outside sales position, and occasional travel maybe required. You will be responsible for the sales of myBantu’s unique recommendation technology. You will execute sales strategies to achieve our revenue goals while marketing the technology to major publishers worldwide.
Responsibilities
Grow sales velocity and revenue through strategic sales.
Build sales team including outside vendor team.
Sales reporting.
Work with channel partners to nurture opportunities to close.
Work with product management team to ensure product roadmap is consistent with prospect needs.
Conduct prospecting cold calls and demos.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience. Selling to online publishers preferred but not required.
Skills
Demonstrated ability to build a sales team and sales processes.
Practitioner of effective and proven selling systems and techniques.
Metrics oriented outlook to sales.
Experience leading, managing and growing a small to mid-size sales team.
Strong understanding of online web-based technologies required.
Appreciation of an open, transparent and fun working culture.
Compensation
It is a commission based role for 3 months. After that we pay generous base plus untapped commissions.
