Our company has developed a data-intensive platform within the real estate industry which works with very large and rapidly growing datasets. These datasets are used in multi-tier interfaces. As part of this development, we build, deploy, and maintain applications using a PHP platform.
This position offers lots of room for growth. The right candidates will work well in a team environment and enjoy their work. They will communicate well, and be versed in workflow management and time management. Responsibilities will include:
" Provide customer support on technical issues with the products we offer
" Diagnose and repair bugs
" Develop and implement ongoing improvements to the products
" Work with our over-seas team on programming tasks
" Create Macros and automation within the system
We are a very small start-up, and although there is a dedicated focus on the application back-end for this position, we all do a bit of everything; so you might find yourself working on diverse tasks. We offer great opportunities for career growth. Communication with our overseas programmers, macro generation and integration to current frontend systems will also be part of the position.

" Experience working on a unix platform
" Extensive PHP programming knowledge, including knowledge of PHP5
" Knowledge of OOP techniques in PHP
" Extensive knowledge of MySQL, including data insertion/extraction, table optimization and database management
" Knowledge of SaaS concepts, preferably experience with scalable web application architecture and design
" Basic HTML knowledge (W3C Standards-based coding preferred)
" Basic CSS knowledge (Advanced knowledge of CSS2 preferred)
Additionally, a portion of your time will be spent in independent brainstorming and bring new ideas to the forefront.
Minimum 3rd of a 4 year degree. Must have a minimum of 3.0 grade point average
