GLOSSYBOX is a product of Beauty Trend Holding GmbH and one of the most successful ventures of Rocket Internet GmbH, which has led a number of online companies such as eDarling, Zalando, and Groupon to lasting success.
Through innovative means, our business model brings high-class brands from the cosmetic and consumer goods industry together with beauty and lifestyle product customers and enthusiasts. Whether in the form of a single, exclusively arranged box or as a monthly subscription, our customers receive individually selected samples of high-end beauty and lifestyle products – from well-known luxury brands to secret newcomer labels – delivered directly to their door. Utilizing various marketing channels, we foster intensive and sustainable relationships with customers so that our partners receive worthwhile feedback on their products as well as novel insights into their target groups.
Our heart beats in Berlin – the European Silicon Valley. Since launch in March 2011, we’ve grown enormously and currently employ over 400 people in 17 countries worldwide. From our Berlin headquarters, we develop global strategies for all business areas and implement them for our various international subsidiaries.

This is a junior-mid level role perfect to someone who would like to get more experience developing across the Microsoft SQL Server stack and making a big difference in the business. The place of business will be Berlin.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement internal and external reporting solutions concerning relevant KPIs (e.g. customer behavior, traffic and conversion) to expand the business intelligence department as part of GLOSSYBOX’s global information management strategy.
Design and develop data warehouse and ETL solutions in SQL and SSIS.
Design and develop multidimensional data cubes in SSAS and reports in SSRS.
Collaboration in cross-functional project teams as competent advisor regarding data modeling, structuring and usage.
Skills
You possess strong Excel and SQL skills and ideally have experience in the definition and design of data warehouse and ETL processes.
You are very analytical, able to think logically and a little bit geeky. Digging into numbers and big data is great fun for you.
You will need to be a good communicator, highly motivated and very open to learning new skills.
Education
You have successfully completed your studies in economics or computer sciences and have already acquired relevant practical experience in the field of SQL Server platform.
