TalkTo is a stealth startup based in Harvard Sq. Our consumer mobile and Internet product is in private beta, and we are looking for extraordinarily talented engineers to help move the product from stealth to public launch. We're focused on mobile apps for real time communication. Team is currently made up of 5 (4 of whom are eng) and we will be hiring at least 2 eng in the near term.
Riley Crane comes to TalkTo from the Media Lab at MIT, specifically within Sandy Pentlands's Human Dynamics Group. Before MIT, Riley spent 3 yrs as a Postdoc Fellow in Didier Sornette's Chair of Entrepreneurial Risks at ETH Zurich in Switzerland. Stuart Levinson most recently was an Entrepreneur in Residence at General Catalyst, a Cambridge, MA based venture capital VC firm where he was focused on new Internet and software opportunities. Prior to GC, Stuart was Founder & CEO of Venetica, a pioneer and leader in enterprise content integration. After IBM acquired Venetica in 2004, Stuart led the Content Discovery and Integration team within the Software Group.

3 - 5+ years hands-on development experience.
Knowledge of or interest in Python preferred .
Self-starters with a positive attitude and commitment to excellence.
B.S. in Computer Science or other quantitative field
Experience building Internet-scale systems
Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and text search technologies
Experience with protocols such as XMPP
Experience working with, and contributing to open source software projects is a plus
