Responsibilities
You will be responsible for architecting and delivering modules which connect various data sources (such as storage arrays, switches, servers, virtualization technologies VMware, Hyper-V, LPAR, etc.) to the VI server framework.
Experience
3+ years of applicable server development experience including significant experience with highly scalable, enterprise-class applications.
Proficiency in Java application design and development including experience with Core Java Libraries and object-oriented development methodology.
Background in SNMP or SMI-S, or network management systems a big plus
Background in Fibre Channel a big plus
Background working with SDKs and monitoring APIs
Experience identifying and resolving scalability and performance issues.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Education
BS in Computer Science or equivalent required; MS in Computer Science preferred.
