Overview
Ness is looking for someone to join its tightly knit group to build a next generation mobile search platform that connects people with new experiences. We use technology to understand people and their friends in order to create recommendations for restaurants, events, and activities that feel magical. We are able to do this with a machine learning driven predictive model of user behavior that leverages Internet scale behavioral, profile, and preference data which we extract from social and realtime services. Our dynamic team has backgrounds from companies like Apple, Google and Palantir; and most of our Team has advanced degrees in CS from Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, and Berkeley.
You’re someone who loves technical challenges and is motivated to produce effective and elegant solutions to problems that others might describe as “impossible.” You are a self-starter, who is comfortable solving new problems, but also likes to collaborate and learn from others. As a member of Ness's backend team your role will be part architect and part systems builder. We have an ambitious product and engineering roadmap and are looking for people who can develop rapidly and embrace the challenges and responsibilities and of being a critical member of a highly skilled team.
