Overview
Resonate Networks is a dynamic online advertising network start-up. We are seeking a Software Developer with strong GWT experience. The position will play a crucial role in the Resonate ‘Attitudinal Targeting’ platform. With this platform we are truly 'going where no man has gone before' with a unique, proprietary model by which Resonate performs it's online ad targeting for public affairs, political, and corporate customers.
For the position, previous experience developing scalable web applications is a must. The individual must have a desire to learn and must be able to learn quickly. This is an agile, fast-paced environment with changes and challenges on a daily basis, and so the ability to keep up is a necessity. The candidate will be part of design and implementation of the online platform. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Pioneer the continual design of the online platform while implementing new functionality
Provide high level documentation for the platform design
Work to achieve optimal application performance and scalability
Help to define standards within the project and to drive code reviews
Work on a variety of unique tasks within an agile development environment
Be able to design wire frames and prototypes for new functionality
Collaborate with other subject matter areas within the company to ensure future needs are anticipated

Skills
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
3 + years experience in launching successful interactive web applications as a key member of a web development, application development, or user experience team.
Strong understanding of object-oriented design and software development principles.
Strong understanding of web-based architecture (web servers, load balancing, caching, databases, replication, etc.).
Excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills.
Experience in advertising network, digital media agency, or other advertising related experience a plus.
True start-up mentality and experience with short (Agile, Scrum, Iterative) software lifecycles.
Previous experience working with in a Java/J2EE environment using (Struts, Spring, Hibernate, EJB) and (GWT, JSP, Tiles, JSF) – Spring and Hibernate experience preferred.
Experience with multiple RDBMS products, including SQL Server, Oracle, MySql or Postgres.
Working experience with Google Web Toolkit (GWT) preferably Ext-GWT preferred
Solid working knowledge of Subversion and Maven
Education
Educational Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree required (Math-based degree, e.g. Computer Science, Economics, Statistics)
