Java Superstar – System Development/Team Leadership and Mananagement-Los Angeles

Overview
Are you a superstar Java developer who is hoping to join an exciting and diverse team where you will have a say in the architecture of a system which will be handling around 1 billion transactions per week?

Do you want to get involved with a company who are trying to help those in the USA who don’t have access to basics amenities you are used to? If you are not overwhelmed by the ethical benefits, they have also identified an area of the market which is going to be increasingly prominent in large scale system development and an expertise in the area would be a hugely lucrative asset.
Responsibilities
You will work directly with the Architect and business owners to build and enhance a large scale platform capable of handling well over 100 million transactions on a daily basis.
You will be responsible for building a team of developers who will report directly into you, managing an off shore team already in place, but most of all – hacking away at the platform.
Experience
5+ years working in Java and J2EE
Experience of large-scale, highly configurable, high-availability, multi-tier, transactional, enterprise systems.
Skills
Knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, JUnit, AJAX, SCA, BPEL, XML, XSLET, WSDL, JMS, SOAP
Work in Agile environments – TDD, Code Reviews, PP and Unit testing
Education
B.S. Required
M.S. Preferred
