Jr. / Entry Level Software Engineer (Java or Windows, C++)

Nok Nok Labs, headquartered in Palo Alto, California, is a well funded startup that provides authentication infrastructure solutions to enterprise customers all across the world. Our robust and innovative product is desgined to solve problems that have existed within the Internet security space for years.

We're looking for a Software Engineer with Java or C++ development experience to help build products that are designed to solve the inherent problems that have existed within the authentication space for years. You will participate in the creation of an authentication platform, developing a server that is expected to scale and function inside some of the world’s largest Web infrastructures.
Designing and developing cutting edge software solutions that are scalable and high impact
Actively participating in brainstorming sessions and code reviews that are meant to help us all become better engineers
Making suggestions and recommendations to improve and optimize software capabilities
Influencing the direction and delivery of our version 1.0 product
Degree (Masters degree preferred) in Computer Science or Engineering with a high GPA.
Experience in Java or C++ programming
Knowlegde of client and server side development concepts and technologies.
Solid object oriented design skills
Knowledge of database concepts
Familiarity with security/crypto protocols and concepts
Familiarity with Unix like systems such as Linux, BSD, Solaris, etc.
Great written and verbal skills, especially writing design documents that are easy to understand
