We’re looking for a talented and passionate visual designer to bring Trumaker’s vision to life on the web and in print. You are a brand junkie with a strong opinion on quality design, the ability to design for both function and emotion, and a desire to create trends, not just follow them. You have an interest in storytelling and narrative design, as well as high standards for pixel-perfect execution. You’re interested in building a world-class, authentic apparel brand with a focus on quality, utility, and taste.
You’ll work closely with our Art Director, VP of E-Commerce, Front End Developers, and our Sales team in a fast-paced start-up environment. Your flexible and adapt to a variety of changing needs and be ready and willing to generate everything from high-end print marketing pieces to daily social media content to email marketing campaigns.
Develop and execute creative concepts that enhance the Trumaker brand identity while meeting functional requirements
Create leverage for our team by building branded templates and documents
Work across departments to solve design problems for a variety of stakeholders, from Sales to E-Commerce to Product Development
Generate and execute content for social media and our blog
Maintain visual and messaging consistency across channels to present a coherent, well-articulated brand to our customers and sales force
Have the chops and enough experience to produce quality work, quickly.
Understanding of and experience with both print and web design conventions and techniques
Understanding of and experience in designing for both function and emotion
Demonstrable Adobe Creative Suite savvy
Pixel-perfect attention to detail
Comfort working on and with grids and templates
Familiarity with e-commerce, multimedia, and technology
HTML/CSS knowledge a plus
Four year degree preferred
