Overview
Cambridge/MIT based start-up is looking for a Junior Firmware Electrical engineer to continue developing our award winning electric vehicle technology.

Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:
Design, develop and debug firmware for gateway and motor controller; (dsPIC microchip programming).
Test and debug PCB boards;
redesign wiring and connectorization of power electronics
Complete effective design documentation;
Experience
experience with ECU programming
3+ years experience programming in C for dsPIC microchip
some experience with CANbus (and CANalyzer)
Experience with bluetooth protocols, RF transmitters and modules.
Experience with re-production, manufacturing and assembly is a major asset.
Skills

Excellent problem-solving capabilities in a start-up environment.
Action and results oriented person with good communication skills.
Coding skills (C, C++, PIC, Java)
Hardware and fabrication skills - machining, soldering, etc.
3D - modeling skills (solidworks preferred)
Education
- Minimum: Bachelors in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering
