Overview
inSparq is looking for a sharp mind that has experience with journalism/pr and marketing that wants hands-on experience in the hot field of fashion tech and social commerce. Your main responsibilities would be to create content (write blogs, articles and help on press releases) and pitch them to various industry publications and helping the company obtain speaking opportunities and awards. Beyond that you’ll get to work on BIG IDEA’s and hopefully come up with the next BIG IDEA and execute on it yourself!
Responsibilities
Junior Marketing Manager
You’ll be trained on cutting edge techniques in marketing from some of the top marketers in the tech industry. We are building industry momentum and already have major clients live with our social products. It’s an opportunity to be part of the development of a new company with the wind at its back. We’re successful entrepreneurs and executives who have built large companies in the past. Our ethos is built around bootstrapping and being efficient while having fun. We’re a close-knit team looking for great people to join our ranks.
Your work will have a meaningful impact on our marketing and develop your skillset and career.
Your primary responsibilities will be:
Executing our journalism and pr strategy. Creating content, including research reports, trend analysis, interviews and getting us placed in major media publications.
Executing on digital marketing programs (training included)
Executing on social media conversations
Event production
Being an awesome contribution to our team.
Experience
Required Skills:
PR experience writing, pitching and placing stories or as a publication Editor
Proficiency in writing an absolute must.
Background in Journalism (college or professional) preferably as an editor.
Organized and operationally savvy.
Good marketing instinct
Experience planning and executing events.
Proven leadership skills.
Desire to learn and proactively contribute to a startup.
