Work closely with developers to design safe and secure solutions
Identify opportunities to automate tasks and maintain operational tools
Diagnose and resolve systems configuration, production and deployment issues
Provide support when operational issues occur, problem solving, and root cause analysis
Plan for and implement new technologies in support of a rapidly growing web property
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Linux administration (Red Hat, CentOS, and Ubuntu preferred)
Familiarity with Linux networking and authentication infrastructure
Experience with operational scripting in languages such as Bash, PHP, Perl, Python or Ruby Python or Perl (PHP /Python preferred)
NoSQL database experience (i.e.: MongoDB)
Familiar with public cloud infrastructures and support (such as Amazon's AWS)
LAMP (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP/Perl/Python) server config/admin/tuning
System monitoring experience (nagios, cacti, groundwork, etc)
Excellent communication, organization, time management and multi-tasking skills
* Degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred
