Overview
We’re looking for a Lead Architect who is pasionate about building scalable and robust distributed systems. You are someone well versed at caching, queuing, large scale data migration, monitoring tools, or distributed data storage,
Responsibilities
Building core, backend software components
Scaling applications with respect to the database
Working the full stack to solve critical engineering problems
Experience
Core understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures and algorithms)
Mastery of a language like PHP, Python, C/C++, Java
Expert database knowledge including data model design, caching, and optimizing queries
Experience with OS internals, distributed systems, or server architectures
Skills
Developed asynchronous and fault tolerant systems with message queues
Architected a shared nothing architecture
Built a RESTful services layer and caching with memcache
