We are looking for a software-savvy visual artist to design and help develop our user interface for our restaurant industry market research mobile application. If you ever wanted to have a huge impact, this might be a good fit.
We need a UX/UI Designer that knows how to get things done, how to lead an efficient and effective team, and how to turn wireframes into flawless designs. These designs are critical to the success or failure of our company and therefore they have to be perfect and highly presentable as we seek to secure funding.
Our lead designer will also be responsible for creating and/or oversight of the web design for the back end. Our product needs to be the best quality and best visual experience for our web based customers.
Design cutting edge, visually unique and compelling interactions.
Design user interfaces (UI) that are self-educating and require no user manual.
Work with developers to ensure artwork is preserved and functionality works as intended.
Constantly reassess the UI for usability, functionality, and ease of learning.
Produce and maintain product art such as feature graphics, header artwork, etc.
Keep up on web and design trends to track where technology and cutting-edge UI is moving.
Other related design duties as assigned.
Willing to temporarily relocate to an incubator program (possible perminant relocation).
You must be able to design for mobile applications (User interfact and user experience). You also must be able to design for the web.
Ability to interpret wireframes
Education is important, but we really just want to see that you know what you're doing. While we have great respect for formal education and degree programs, we really are most interested in what you know and what you can do with what you know.
