Lead Developer/Lead Engineer

Overview
Looking for a LA or SF based experienced engineering and development lead to join an innovative digital marketing start-up working with major entertainment and consumer product brands.

Our business model was incubated at The Wharton School of Business and we are currently in Alpha release.

We are a small team who has worked directly with Pixar, Warner Bros, Facebook, Universal, Google, SONY and Idle Games.
Responsibilities
Work directly with Head of Product/co-founder to implement technical strategy
Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements with little or no supervision
Perform a technical analysis on current code base and architecture and make recommendations
Work with the QA team to triage and fix bugs with rapid turnaround
Contribute ideas for making the application scale-able, robust, secure and intuitive
Work directly with offshore support team
Experience
Understands start-up culture and product launch
Experience at another tech startup as a lead developer/engineer is a plus
Skills
RESTful application frameworks, PHP, jQuery, LAMP.
Experience with project management tool Jira is a plus.
Native web application frameworks, Android, iOS a plus
A work style that is detail oriented, collaborative and nimble
Strong communication skills
Education
B.A in Computer Science or equivalent
Compensation
Willing to sign on as first in-house engineer for equity.
