Overview
Guyism, LLC is a men's Web site based around content which is looking to build applications to aid in the community building. Our content business is booming and now we need a skilled developer who can build applications (one simple, one complex) and turn our vertical ideas into tangible products.
Responsibilities
Handle all programming and development of applications
Interface with management to ensure the products work as they should
Setup, maintain, and deploy all servers
Be responsible for scalability and well-coded products
Experience
Experience building algorithms and community products
Keen understanding of Javascript, PHP, Ruby on Rails, and Agile Development, as well as an understanding of what tools to use and when
Contributing to other start-ups in the past would be helpful
Skills
Should have an idea of how to build anything, within reason, given the time
Should have design experience to ensure the product matches current layouts
Should be a hard worker who wants to bang projects out as quickly as possible
Compensation
Salary paid upon first round of fund-raising
