Lead Engineer / Project Manager at YesTattoo

at YesTattoo in CA   —   Mar 24, 2014   |
Chris Liu, CEOMelissa Reiser, MarketingAlex Hertz, Designer
Overview
The Project Manager position represents the lead engineer for a multi-website startup. This person will lead development at all levels of the application, from back-end to front-end, and have the opportunity to make a substantial difference in a fast-growing startup. Candidates should be interested in contributing to the launch of a range of websites and mobile applications, with the potential of becoming the CTO of the company. Ultimately, we want to team up with your passion for technology creation and shake industries through global brands.

The first website in the pipeline is YesTattoo.com. There is currently no unified online tattoo community. Finding the perfect tattoo artist can be an endless search, sifting through scattered and unorganized portfolios. YesTattoo plans to solve this problem by creating the first one-stop platform for tattoo art-Effectively a marketplace that will forever change the relationship between tattoo artists and their canvases. With heavy pre-launch marketing, YesTattoo will quickly captivate the more than 20% of tattooed US adults (Harrison Pole) and the 160.4 million Googlers who search for tattoos every month. Leading the YesTattoo release with a mobile application (iOS & Android), the website platform will be pre-populated with users and well positioned for a viral launch. YesTattoo will use a SaaS business model to monetize the social platform and offer a premium advertising vehicle for businesses to reach their target audience.
