Overview
Veritat Advisors seeks a full-time Lead Financial Advisor. Contingent on performance and fit, we anticipate that the candidate would become Veritat’s Chief Advisory Officer within a few years. This position is located in Philadelphia.

Responsibilities
Manage Veritat’s Financial Advisory process. Actively improve existing processes based on client feedback.
Hire, train, and develop Veritat’s Financial Advisory Team.
Work with Veritat’s business and technology teams on product development. Suggest ideas for how to improve the current tools and help to develop new product offerings.
Client service: the Lead Financial Advisor will spend a significant part of his or her time as a client-facing Financial Advisor, particularly in the first few years.
Contingent on performance and fit, we anticipate the Lead Financial Advisor would transition into a Chief Advisory Officer role within a few years. The Chief Advisory Officer would have broader responsibilities, including higher-level team building, strategic direction, and increased involvement in product development.
You will interact continuously with the management and technical team, which include a former McKinsey consultant as well as a Wharton Professor. We are committed to delivering a high impact, professionally developmental experience. Further, we hope that you will assume a leadership role as the company grows.
Experience
Significant experience as a client-facing Financial Advisor.
A high level of comfort with the basic financial planning topics. Able to “hit the ground running.” CFP not required.
Ideally, experience with mainstream and mass affluent clients (i.e., non high-net-worth clients [Optional]).
Skills
Enjoys an entrepreneurial environment and the challenge of building a team and product from the ground up.
Is comfortable with the demanding lifestyle of a startup.
Believes in Veritat’s mission of providing comprehensive, objective and affordable financial advisory to all households.
Self-managed: Able to identify, structure, and deliver your own workstream .
Experience in management/ project management. Proven track record in running a company, team, or project from beginning to end.
Strong problem solving and communication skills.
Proven track record as a team player. Comfortable with giving and receiving feedback.
Is a morale leader and inspirational to team.
Business savvy and familiar with the financial advisory market.
Some experience with developing a brand, group, or product line.
Compensation
Base salary, commensurate with experience. Likely strong salary increase after one year, based on performance.
