Mindspark Worlds is looking for a standout Lead Game Programmer who has applicable experience. If you are a detail-oriented team player who thrives on working in a fast-paced, creative environment, then this may be the place for you!

Mindspark Worlds offices are located in White Plains, NY and Burbank, CA.

Responsibilities:

•Develop high quality game systems and software.
•Lead a team of experienced and passionate developers.
•Work with the Art Lead, Community Lead, and Product Manager to improve the product and grow the business.
•Participate in game design.
•Contribute to technical design and architecture of large systems.
•Maintain and update existing code base.

Requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
•Minimum 3+ years programming games for console or PC.
•Experience with client/server programming.
•Experience with test-driven development.
•Creative problem solving ability.
•Must have a passion for game development.
•Good communication skills.
•Must be able to work in a fast-paced iterative environment.
•Must be able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Desired Skills:

•Development experience on PC and Mac.
•Web programming experience a plus.
•Flash programming (AS3) experience a plus.
•Game design experience a plus.
