Overview
Startup company looking for hands on developer with strong leadership skill to take our private beta platform to the next level and beyond. We need a top notch programmer who can brainstorm an idea, spec it out and then make it happen by doing much of the actual work and managing the rest with either inside or outside programmers including overseas. We are not creating a product, but instead a platform that will have many facets so thinking three steps ahead based on our collective vision is vital. You will be part of the core start up team where the sky is the limit.
Experience
Thorough knowledge of Zend framework and MVC pattern
Thorough knowledge of MySQL database design, query optimizations, development, and debugging
LAMP development including Apache, Nginx deployment experience
PHP coding, code and performance optimizations, debugging and unit testing
Scalability testing, benchmarking, vertical partitioning, sharding, load balancing, caching, server auto-scaling, CDN knowledge
Cross-browser front-end development skills (HTML5, CSS/JS/jQuery)
Experience working with overseas teams, repository management, and participating in code reviews
Support and maintenance of existing code-base

Education
BS/MS in Computer Science desired
