Lead Software Design Engineer in Test

As our Lead Software Development Engineer in Test you bring a professional approach to drive high quality software development. In this position you will own and ensure quality for our software products. You will assume responsibility designing and implementing our test infrastructure to support applications on various platforms (.Net, WPF, Silverlight, Web and Mobile). You will be experienced in writing tests and implementing a test automation strategy. You will interact with our development team creating common data access layer components, our computational algorithm engineers, data visualization designers, and business team. You will also be responsible for executing test plans and/or test cases for specific automated test programs.

Your job will include writing high quality test specifications and automation design documents. You will engage early on in the feature design process to make sure that features meet customer requirements and that testability is a core design point from the start. You will design our overall automation test automation system. You’ll be responsible for implementing test automation, as well as developing tools and processes to improve the team.
WPF and/or Sliverlight knowledge is a big plus. Deep experience with C# and the .Net framework is required.
5 to 10 years of experience testing complex systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Excellent design and coding skills.
Experience building or contributing to test frameworks is a plus.
Experience testing UI Tools and/or testing designer tools a plus.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar
