Overview
Trapit (http://trap.it) is looking for a ambitious, creative and talented designer to join us in bringing to life our unique content discovery and personalization platform on the web, mobile devices and beyond. You'll work closely with product management and developers to design and build brand new products and features, and produce compelling, responsive and user-friendly experiences. We want Trapit's core technology to connect seamlessly with our UX design and become a mandatory part of our users' daily routines.
Responsibilities
Work with product management to create and execute the design and UX vision for Trapit across all supported platforms -- table, mobile, social and beyond
Prototype new ideas and explore new concepts on the forefront of UX design and UI technologies across all supported platforms
Provide all UX design assets from wireframe and mockups to completed designs
Prepare graphic assets and CSS info for development
Collaborate across disciplines with team members representing product, development and marketing
Help us to grow and lead an industry-best in-house design and creative team
Enjoy working in a fast-paced and creative team environment
Contribute to Trapit blog and represent Trapit at industry events
Be a team player who is self-motivated and well-organized with exceptional problem-solving skills
Skills
Advanced understanding of design and development processes, methods and principles
Verifiable experience designing applications that have been successfully delivered to and used by real live customers
Experience in multiplatform design, with a strong emphasis on mobile
Advanced proficiency in design applications such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Strong working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Exceptional analytical aptitude and attention to detail
5+ years of software UX/UI design experience in a professional environment
Familiarity with Javascript (nice to have)
Familiarity with LESS (nice to have)
Experience with git and github (nice to have)
