At Ticket Evolution, the Lead UX Designer will have the challenge of overseeing both enterprise B2B software as well as bringing to life a consumer brand from a blank canvas.
Ticket Evolution software manages hundreds of millions of dollars of event tickets Our customers(and as luck would have it, our investors) are ticket brokers. Those same individuals who are responsible for upwards of 70% of all the tickets you see today on those big secondary ticket sites...(Yes including that big one)
Challenge One: Our Point of Sale system. Every secondary ticket a consumer sees on the internet goes through one of a handful or POS systems. We are in beta release of the one that will change how the secondary ticketing industry works forever. We want you to make it beautiful and amazingly easy to use. Its good now but we want it to be perfect.
Challenge Two: Create a beautiful ticket buying experience for a consumer facing site.
Bonus Challenge: Be the design lead on all future partnerships. eg. we have a partnership with Orbitz. cheaptickets.com/events is powered by Ticket Evolution. Work in tandem with designs leads of future partners.
Lead the UX design process for all products and features
Explain, Convince and Educate on why design decisions are made
Give and accept criticism
Create interactive visual requirements including styling, workflow diagrams, wireframes
3-5 years of experience designing great consumer facing and/or enterprise products
Have a portfolio of multiple products/major features/apps.
Expertise in Illustrator, Photoshop, Fireworks(Omnigraffle, Balsamiq)
Ability to provide production ready files to engineers
Mastery of color, graphic elements, imagery, typography, and
PLEASE PROVIDE AN ONLINE PORTFOLIO
Undergraduate degree a plus but experience for more important to us.
