As Lead Designer you will own the user experience across all LectureTools products throughout the product life cycle, from the initial research phase through final implementation. You will work closely with business development to define product requirements and goals, and will lead the effort to translate those goals into high-level visions and detailed feature sets. You will produce deliverables that convey designs to the software engineering team, and will work closely with engineering to ensure accurate execution. The Lead Designer will report directly to the head of product development, and may manage a small team. You will be closely involved in defining the product road map.
Conduct usability studies, interviews and observation sessions

Experience designing web-based software.

A solid understanding of UX best practices.

Mastery of wireframing solutions such as Omnigraphle, Axure, Balsamiq or Visio.
Proficient knowledge of design software including Photoshop and Illustrator.
Strong understanding of graphic/visual design principles, typography and color theory.
Ability to produce stunning interface designs.
