Overview
BitTorrent creates advanced, innovative technologies to efficiently move large files across the Internet. The company's two main products today include the original BitTorrent software and the tiny-but-mighty µTorrent, which combined boast over 100+ million users. We are looking for a few exceptional people to help take our company to the next level.
This is a unique opportunity to work on a new live streaming protocol and service created by the inventor of the BitTorrent protocol. The system is currently in beta, and we're now building the team which will take beta tester feedback and internal direction to turn it into a finished product.
The ideal candidate would have a background in video and network programming and a love for technical challenges.

Experience
Python experience
Experience with video codecs, streaming protocols and network programming.
Comfortable with Linux/BSD and command line tools in general.
