Livestream is seeking a qualified and experienced sales and business development professional with excellent sales, communication, and relationship building skills to join its growing team in New York. In this critical role, the right candidate will pursue Advertising and Brand sales opportunities for Livestream at agency and client levels. Focus on Custom Campaigns, Sponsorship Sales and Media Sales. The mission will consist of target account due diligence, access building, proposal development and closed sales.
Crafting of strategic sales plan to reach revenue goals; hitting or exceeding those goals.
Ability to communicate Livestream’s value proposition, technology, and processes.
Development of list of target accounts that fits Livestream’s advertising and sponsorship capabilities.
Cultivation of agency partnerships focusing on client needs, development of case studies and best use-cases of the Livestream platform. Marketing and social media agencies will be a focus.
Development of strong relationships with client-side contacts at senior and mid levels.
Understanding of digital media industry landscape and trends: who are the major players, how do they buy, from whom; what are key catalysts that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction?
Procurement of agency RFPs for Livestream.
Industry interaction: conference attendance, industry event attendance.
Bachelor’s Degree required
At least 3 years experience in online advertising sales
Track record of networking, relationship building and closing new business
Listening, negotiation, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Experience with agencies of all kinds (marketing, social, media)
Analytical orientation and skill set
Understanding of internet advertising technologies and methods
Time management: ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
