Responsible for planning, development and implementation of Bidgely’s marketing strategies, including product definition and marketing communication, with a primary focus on the direct-to-consumer channel.
Own and develop the direct-to-consumer channel to generate traction and revenue
Conduct market research and define the features that create a true consumer product
Own and define the consumer experience
Define the pricing strategy for the product (develop a freemium model)
Redesign the web page to create the right consumer messaging and experience
Define promotional techniques to create a viral effect for the product (possible suggestions include referral programs, collaborations with schools and communities, etc)
Run consumer studies - including marketing campaigns, recruiting subjects and designing experiments - to demonstrate key benefits of the product/technology (studies lead to white papers that will serve as sales collateral for Utilities channel)
Position Bidgely as the leading consumer brand in the residential energy analytics domain
Responsible for company’s overall branding and positioning to generate a pull effect for the products
Manage corporate communication efforts to effectively reach a broad set of audience, including utilities, regulators, policy makers and energy vendors
Establish and implement strategic and tactical communications plans designed to articulate the Company’s value proposition in order to generate demand
Enhance company presence on blogging and social networking site
Work with the designers and UI team to create marketing collaterals to sell into consumer and other channels
Lead company participation at industry events
Thought leadership on white papers, case studies and other reports
Lead development and execution of innovative marketing initiatives
B2C marketing experience a must; B2B preferred
SaaS product launch experience
Design/creative industry background desired
4 years of experience in product marketing/ consumer marketing/ corporate marketing/ strategic marketing/ product management/ marketing communication roles
