As Manager of Social and Viral Marketing, you’re the one to "get the word out" about what we offer via social networks and online communities, referral and affiliate programs, and events. Responsibilities and success metrics are:
Responsibilities
Generate positive brand awareness/image and new user acquisition among our target market via social, viral, affiliate and event marketing.
Social Network Marketing: Identify, prioritize, specify and manage Mint applications and widgets hosted on targeted sites.
Affiliate and Referral Marketing: Design, execute and manage programs which cost-effectively drive new user growth.
Event Marketing: manage Mint WebEx-type presentations as well as Mint’s “real world” presence at conferences, trade shows, etc.
Identify and execute programs which are consistent with our brand and values
Collaborate with PR, online marketing and customer service to ensure that Mint’s voice is consistent and our messaging is relevant across all “evangelist” tactics
Collaborate with product management team to create roadmap for community, viral and network marketing experiences within the site and on the Web
Manage tracking and reporting to measure ROI of community, social network, blog and event marketing efforts on Mint’s brand awareness/image, site traffic and user conversion rates
Oversee all financial impacts and maximize ROI
Experience

Track record of success in internet, online and/or social media marketing, ideally for a Web 2.0 application with a strong community focus
3+ years of hands–on experience in either marketing, product management or community leadership for an internet based services OR
3+ years experience in online marketing agency serving clients providing internet based services
High energy, creative, innovative and results–driven attitude
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Personal interest in helping people better manage and save money
Strong self motivation and ability to work independently
Bias to action and ability to work efficiently within a fast paced, start–up environment
Prior early–stage startup experience
Education
BS or equivalent from a top tier school
