Mark Logic is currently seeking Market Development Representatives based in the Austin, TX area. The primary responsibilities of this position are to prospect, identify, and qualify sales opportunities. We‘re looking for tenacious individuals with a sense of urgency, a ‘hunter ‘ mindset , and excellent follow-up ability to go after new leads within a target market and maintain a high volume of daily outbound calls. You will apply strong research skills, resourcefulness and creative thinking skills to identify events and build strategies that can help penetrate target accounts. Market Development Reps possess strong communication and persuasion skills in order to engage potential customers, and line up appointments for qualified prospects with outside sales field representatives.
Heavy outbound calling to prospect, qualify and nurture leads, and develop opportunities
Responding to inbound calls
Promoting attendance at Mark Logic events
Conducting specialized calling campaigns to support field efforts
Candidates must have:
Strong communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively on all levels including C level.
Strong organizational skills
Previous experience in High Technology (software preferred) within sales, marketing or lead generation.
