Marketing Consultant/Account Manager

Overview
Push is a Boston-based startup that helps companies increase brand exposure and acquire new business in an innovative way. We are currently looking to add an account management/marketing professional to our team. The new hire will be able to cultivate relationships with a wide variety of merchants in a role that also includes some exciting marketing and consulting responsibilities. You will be joining a fast-paced startup environment, and will gain exposure to a number of business disciplines.
Responsibilities
Work closely with each new merchant from setup through launch
Develop a marketing strategy for new merchants, communicate key action items and manage client expectations
Offer top-notch customer service in positioning clients for success and ensuring a high level of retention
Serve as a liaison between the sales, merchant relations and creative teams
Assist with miscellaneous tasks and special projects
Experience
0-3 years of professional experience preferred
Prior account management and/or marketing experience is a plus
Skills
You are comfortable reaching out to new people on the phone, in-person and over email – communication is your strong suit
You are very organized – the kind of person who naturally makes to-do lists, spreadsheets and calendars to keep track of things
You understand social media and progressive marketing tactics
You work fast, and have the ability to multitask
You are a team player who employs a “do whatever it takes” mentality
You are a scrappy and resourceful problem-solver who will “figure it out”
Experienced in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Photoshop experience is a plus
Position is in Cambridge, MA
Education
Undergraduate degree required
