arvato Systems is looking for a highly motivated Marketing Director to join our rapidly growing team. We value hard work, positive attitude, and a proven successful track record. The Marketing Director is responsible for developing and executing new strategies and plans to drive market visibility, lead flow, and business goal attainment. This role requires hands-on experience successfully working with Sales teams to identify key business needs; translating them into aggressive, actionable marketing plans that include creative and effective tactics for lead generation and awareness promotion.

Experience in marketing complex professional services is required. The Marketing Director has to develop a solid understanding of the eCommerce technology space and our services quickly. Our ideal candidates will ensure that our accomplishments are brought to the attention of existing and potential clients, partners, and corporate stakeholders frequently and creatively.

This role can be located in any of our offices (New York, San Francisco, Toronto) and potentially work remotely. The Marketing Director reports to the Vice President and will be expected to recruit and manage junior staff and interns.
Responsibilities
Revamp overall marketing and go-to-market strategy in collaboration with Account Executives and Lead Generation team
Execute on strategy within boundaries of agreed upon budget
Enhance messaging and positioning of arvato systems with potential clients and partners
Drive and oversee creation of marketing documents, PowerPoint presentations, press releases, internal newsletters, and other material
Develop and execute lead generating marketing activities including email campaigns, trade shows, dinner events
Target and develop relationships with partners and key people in the industry
Attend training and associated workshops to increase product knowledge and stay abreast of company and partner products, services, and pricing as well as familiarity with competitor products and pricing
Experience
Extensive research of the industry, services offered, and how services are marketed
Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience in technology/ecommerce/professional services
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; MBA a plus
Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up like environment
