Overview
Shulogique is a high-tech fashion startup seeking a Marketing & Event Coordinator to support our ongoing customer scanning events. At Shulogique (www.shulogique.com) our mission is to establish ourselves as a high-tech fashion company that delivers unique and high quality products where fit and comfort are the key drivers at a competitive price. Using advanced digital technologies we scan the woman’s feet to capture key measurements such as width, length, ball position, toe shape, heel location, etc. This information is used to make fully custom shoe molds based on our proprietary comfort and style formula. Customers can then personalize the shoe by selecting style, heel height and color. Our first product line will consist of high-style designer dress shoes, handbags and accessories. The business has already tested the technology and is conducting a variety of market trials in preparation for a formal launch. Job Description
This position is focus on establishing, organizing and managing the key Shulogique marketing events – such as our customer scanning sessions. They will work with the existing team and have the opportunity to develop creative marketing and fashion programs that will help us meet our business objectives, build brand awareness, capture customers, and generate revenue – both online and offline.
Responsibilities
Research opportunities for marketing events
Develop marketing programs for each event
Coordinate the details of each event.
Communicate with key partners and customers
Participate in designing and creating marketing materials both electronic and in print
Measure the results of the events and make ongoing improvements
Participate in events and learn the Shulogique tools
Find creative ways to capture new customers and market interest
Analyze customer data, market conditions and competitive information to help general marketing plan and event strategy
Identify and recommend potential partner relationships
Work with cross functional teams and outside resources.
Experience
Proven experience in managing events - all details from early planning through execution and post event activities
Ability to negotiate with vendors and find creative ways to manage a tight budget
Experience in promoting and getting target customers to attend event
Business knowledge on how to properly correlate business objectives to specific goals
Meeting or exceeding job and business targets
Ability to be creative in implementing strategies on a limited budget
Skills
Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships
Demonstrate creative and analytical thinking
Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary
Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly
Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
Strong project management or organizational skills
Is eager to meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility
Brings to the position outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Ability to communicate results to management and in a fast paced environment
Excellent English communication skills (oral and written), including the ability to explain and present program concepts to a variety of audiences.

Education
Bachelor's Degree - science or administration
3-4 years of experience in event management or similar field
Fluent in Spanish, a plus
