Alimity is a jobs marketplace and we're looking for a an ambitious and experienced marketing guru. We're expecting you to be very creative and yet be able to execute, measure, and report on your marketing campaigns. Eventually you will be expected to head the marketing department that you create and manage but in the beginning it's just you!
We need you to have a <b>proven track record</b> in effectively devising and executing creative, fun, and interactive marketing campaigns aimed at recruiting users to a web or phone app. Experience building an Marketplace would be even better! We expect you to be very social, outgoing, and excellent at communicating our service to potential partners, users, investors, and everyone in between.
Please note, this is an <b>equity only</b> opportunity until we close a round or begin making some money. You may also be granted a "Co-Founder" title.

Devising and implementing a wide range of marketing strategies through channels including but not limited to street teams, affiliates, email, social media, direct mail, search engines, WOM, press, and anything else you deem effective at improving Alimity's ability to acquire and keep users.
You will also be responsible for compiling, including writing copy for, any collateral material required to implement your amazing strategies.
Following up with users your strategies bring to our platform and compiling actionable feedback reports for us to use in improving it.
Measuring the effectiveness of your strategies with key metrics such as conversion rates and creating reports that will be used to generate realistic goals future strategies can follow, and to which you will be held accountable.
When the time comes you will be required to hire, manage, and lead marketing personnel in achieving the desired results from the strategies you and/or your team devise.
Work closely with the dev team to determine future feature rollouts.
Previous experience working as a marketing team leader at or for a web/phone app is a must. Having startup experience is great, but not required. Having experience building an eMarketplace is even better!
Graphic design experience is preferred but not required.
Bootstrapping experience preferred.
Experience measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of your campaigns is a must.
Experience in internet & traditional marketing is a must, including Adwords, email, landing pages, street teams, partnerships.
