Scoop St. aims to usher in a new paradigm of commerce by reshaping the conventional supplier-buyer structure - placing greater purchasing power in your hands.
As the Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for interacting with our community user-base through various social network platforms (Facebook, Twitter), and other online outlets.
Market research for generating online leads and target lists for use in sales and business development
Creating effective marketing copy
Understanding the components of a successful marketing promotion plan
Develop and retain an interest and open-line with our customer-base to keep them excited about our company/brand
In addition, you'll be working with really smart people (NYU and other ivy alums) that fosters a culture of learning new things everyday. You'll also be working very closely with all the teams, and understand the inner-workings of how to run a startup. Not only will you learn basic traditional and online marketing strategies, we would like to learn some cool new things from you as well :)
Minimal of 1 or 2 core business classes from your school, it can be anything.
Smart, ambitious, hard-working, tenacious, diligent, and understanding
Heavy social network user (sociological understanding of social networking a plus)
Thrive in a fast-paced environment
